We went on a weekend trip to Charlotte, NC from Nashville, TN. We came here for a breakfast one morning!

Let me just say the woman Sam with the blonde hair was so kind and patient while we ordered. Sam was just plain amazing! She helped us with recommendations for breakfast, which we decided on the breakfast sandwiches (it was incredible and so fresh).

She even helped with our coffee order too and talked us into the lighter coffee telling us that this was in fact stronger (which was so cool that we learned something new).

Sam was amazing, smiled, made us feel comfortable, welcomed, asked where we were from, and didn't rush us through our order. We'll be back! Sam's an incredible person to have at your company!

"Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?"

I love this little coffee shop. I've had brownies, muffins, hot chocolate and, if I am being honest, the best mocha frap you can find in Queen City. Honest to God, their mocha frap is amazeballs.

While there isn't a lot of space inside the shop, it does feel cozy and there are a lot of small personal touches that make this place (and by association, NoDa) unique. It definitely has that same funky feel as the rest of the NoDa area. I've always experienced great service as well; the baristas have always been friendly to me and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. I love coming here after dinner at Boudreaux's, or just stopping here for a drink when I'm shopping in NoDa.

Definitely give this great little NoDa nook a try!

This place has terrible customer service and they don't really care. I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich on a biscuit. They didn't have one pre made so they said it will be "made to order". They also didn't have regular biscuits for made to order . So I was charged extra for a cheddar chive biscuit I didn't even want. I ended up paying over $6.50 for a simple egg and cheese sandwich and when I complained they just said well these are our prices. Why am I being charged for something that I didn't even intend to order originally ? And regardless being rude to your few customers doesn't make sense for business.
The iced coffee uses crushed ice instead of ice cubes... Makes no sense either.
Coffee is not even that great.

Really cool spot in Noda that for whatever reason I have never visited or even heard of. We were looking for breakfast and Yelp lead us here. It was pretty busy on Saturday for breakfast. There is not much room so it can get crowded pretty quickly.

We both ordered sausage egg and cheese biscuits, one on a cheddar chive biscuit and the other on a regular biscuit. We also had a cold brew the Llorona and an iced brown sugar spiced latte. The biscuits were soft and flaky. We had no complaints with the food and the drinks were really good.

Smelly cat is definitely worth a visit if you are in Noda.
